With every rise of the sun i persevere on
and every fall of the moon i collapse
the pain that echoes deep inside bones
tearing at my veins and nerves
but i am only told
that is natural
no i know
those words
lie.



Alexandra Deianira (She/Her) is a 21 year old, LGBTQ+ writer and full time college student from Northern California.
