The Afterpast Review

A Feminist Magazine

Mother Reaper by Zoe Davis (England, 40)

10/31/2023

Mother made the grass grow
Not the rain
Her hands nourished
Gathered
Soft reaper
She knew
What must be kept
& what must be scythed
In order
To survive
